Still, for very short-term trading commission + smaller spread is preferable to wider spread w/o commission - even if transaction-costs would be the same on paper. If you have stops/targets of just a few pips, its likely that sooner or later your stop get hit just by these 0.5 pips in spread...

There are a few good books on how to meet these benchmarks (twap, vwap, volume participation and so on). It appears the OP is looking for some sort of shortterm predictive algorithm. Doubting there is useful literature about that.

cstfx: do you have personal experience with MB? Are they any good? On a first look spreads dont look that impressive for an ecn (especially usd/jpy and cable).

I doubt this is very useful. Oanda has a similar thing. The average Oanda customer was heavily short JPY sinche atleast June last year(80% plus). Well that number came down recently..

Yes you can send orders with this, but you cant get any quotes from currenex back into esignal. You would have to look into cnx itself to see what quote you are exactly dealing on. This is only of limited use in my opinion. I would also double-check if this actually works correctly. Ages ago...
