Are you short the underlying AAPL, then closing this condor could make the margin use go up, as the condor is protecting your short position.

portfolio margining margin use for naked options

The usage I quoted was for IBKR, shows which is 2x TOS which must be 20% down. I am still not sure how much more is used if the market moves down by 2% does that mean I use 10% more margin?

    Rebates with IB

yes. the details are on their website, under commissions. My own analysis suggested you need 300k or 1M volume/month to breakeven depending on the product/exchange, then you start getting rebates.

    Unofficial TWS bug thread

    1) TWS bug-- If you have a GTC order filled over multiple days, the commission reported in the TWS is incorrect. 2) suggestion-- would be nice if the T&S window showed the subpenny orders routinely, and also had an option to list the exchange of execution. It is annoying to have to go to...

Does IB impose a Limit on # of Unexecuted Limit Orders

I am not sure if this is the exact answer but it is related. I had a whole bunch of option orders open, then when I filled one, it automatically cancelled another one for margin restrictions.
