zorak - My 10:04 entry was technically wrong - it should have been 865.00 as you said - but my chart was messed up and I was 2 bars early and didn't realize it. :)
First three trades of the day went well - odd though - all the ES trades were opposite the NQ trades - All shorts on ES and all longs on NQ.
Workbook is good through the 10:25 now.

Because I just got out of it when the second trade stopped out and hadn't taken the third trade which was a short, etc. Basically had a moment where I had myself confused about what I needed to do so I just abandoned it all to regroup.
I added a "SYSTEM TOTALS" tab to summarize the equity of the entire system together. I think trading both ES and NQ together minimizes some of the risk of having a negative day.

I forgot to mention that the NQ trades were so slow this morning that I ended up not reversing the first two that overlapped with the third, which I didn't take at all.
Not that I really care to argue this point on this thread - but, who do you think told the computer what the entry, size, etc., etc., should be? Who decided what to tell the computer to do?
Is your opinion that someone doesn't know how to trade something they should consider before they put any money in the markets? Is there some need to know how to trade (whatever that is according to you) in order to make money trading?
Are you sure the stop order you are looking at there is not the stop on the reversal order? There are 5 orders submitted - one of them is transmitted, the other 4 are not transmitted. If you display the OCA field on your screen you will see what order is what.
I can see how it could be hard to keep up with all the order entry - especially if you are not used to scalping seriously.
If you are using IB TWS, you should consider one of the automated entry packages - or if you have excel, just try the DDE spreadsheet I posted above - it should work...
There has been one non-profitable day, 9/23. I suspect it is a combination of the two - or as others have alluded - the fact that I'm just forcing myself to make a trade and make a choice.
The way I'm choosing long/short has been discussed throughout most of the thread.
Got chopped up on the ES every other trade near the open, otherwise not too bad. NQ smoked.
For ES:
14 trades/8 wins/6 losses Gross +0.50
For NQ:
13 trades/10 wins/3 losses Gross +21.00

Hmm. Those are the NQ trades - not the ES trades. Not sure how that got displayed that way. I have noticed that sometimes I have to click twice on the tab to get the screen to change.
