Good question. Ignore the "etc." I am posting a new chart with annotations that I hope answers your question. When I say wave, I don't mean Elliot. Todays candle on the SPY could be classified as a high volume reversal.

Looks like a move to 96-97 on the SPY in the works. Lots of volatility here.

    Swing/Position Trades

It happens a lot. Measured moves. A wave of selling, then a letup, then a similar force wave, etc. But once they become obvious, they often cease to continue.

It sounds like someone sent SE an email claiming to be Farley's attorney, or SE is truly crazy. "I figure the odds be fifty-fifty" - Frank Zappa

    SuperEgo

It seems to me SE that in the first paragraph you said you learned from these "gurus" and in the second paragraph you said learned NOTHING from these guys. My question is why would a trader with GS undertake tutelage from these authors?
  15. D

    SuperEgo

Well, make the obligatory apology and move on SE. Or, stand by your statement and let Farley's attorney sue and prove that your statement is false and defamatory and that you knew it (or would you have to prove that your statement is true?) Any lawyers turned traders out there in ET land?
