BATS was buying like crazy today. They had bids shown and hidden all over the place after the stock broke 20.00. But there was a lot of money on the table today on the long and short side if you were trading it today. The lag on the level II was so long as the stock broke the $20 mark. my 20.00...

I shorted 12,000 at 19.99 and 20.00. But I put 9,000 shares too many on my bid at my exit, forgot to cancel them, and ended up losing money on what should have been free money. I felt like such an ass afterwards. Seeing SBSH post 5 million shares on the ask at even dollar was way too juicy to...

I've been trying out the Corbita (LOL) Chartware too and I think it's terrible. When you flip the current chart to another stock you have to do all of your studies/template all over again. Is there an easier way to do this? Can't believe they're planning on charging people to use this soon...

Thanks for the quick replies :) I'm talking about Nasdaq. Sorry for not mentioning that earlier. With SIZE there's also an option for routing. What difference would using routing make? As for NYSE, some of the guys I work with tried trading it (my office is all nasdaq) and they weren't...

In PP, what's the best way to use a market order that hits as many ECNs as possible? My office by default has market orders set to specific ECNs. IE. Brut, Arca, Island FOK. There is a SIZE key too but it has to be crossed and sometimes that is too slow.
