If anyone you care about has severe refractory depression problems, HERE IS THE CURE:

Ooop... Ok Regarding Z10, I think he should be more respectful towards your struggles. (not to speak for Z) But as you are probably aware from other posts of his, he views this issue from a pretty different perspective-one with a good track record too.

If anyone you care about has severe refractory depression problems, HERE IS THE CURE:

I'm not sure what I said that upset you. I am sorry you have had bad experiences with psychotherapy. I am not a medical doctor and certainly not a booster of psychiatric medications. I did read thru that study and like I said, I am inclined to believe that opiates are more effective than...

If anyone you care about has severe refractory depression problems, HERE IS THE CURE:

From my reading of the literature, I agree with your statement above. The chicken and egg question is not resolved. Further complicating the picture, there is a concept called neuroplaticity which documents adaptive and maladaptive brain changes in response to illness, life experience and...

If anyone you care about has severe refractory depression problems, HERE IS THE CURE:

One other comment: None of the medications mentioned in this thread produce a cure for depression; instead they alleviate symptoms. As the links to Buprenorphine materials that Reardon posted indicated, the drug is only designed to be used as a short term measure to manage chemical dependence...

If anyone you care about has severe refractory depression problems, HERE IS THE CURE:

I checked that I am open minded. As I have mentioned in previous threads, current anti-depressant medication is effective at about the same rate as a placebo sugar pill (which interestingly works better with depressives than others). I would not be surprised if opiates are much more effective...

The legitimate complaints against Bush regarding the response to Hurricane Katrina

Legally, I don't know.... But, I would think that evacuating a major city is something uniquely suited for the Feds. Or, at minimum, 'taking responsibility' should include reviewing the local gov'ts plans to make sure no obvious major errors are included in said plans like shelters in the...

The legitimate complaints against Bush regarding the response to Hurricane Katrina

Not according to US law. "In the event of a terrorist attack, natural disaster or other large-scale emergency, the Department of Homeland Security will assume primary responsibility..." credit to Babak: from: http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=55019

Anyone solely trade the SPY's or QQQQ?

I traded 100 shares of SPY for years to teach myself to trade. I also trade small lots of them or SPY options (recently born) occasionally to practice something new. I don't have much experience with QQQQ. Having traded most of the forms of the S&P 500, I would say that trading SPY is a skill...

    Earthlink DSL

I have had Earthlink DSL (thru Covad) for years and liked it very much. I have cable as a back up and find that while the DSL may be slower for peak speed, its more consistent. The only time I had problems was when I had it on the same circuit as a window AC. When I moved it to another...

Venezuela threatens anew to turn off oil spigot to US

Yep, this guy has balls. Remember he has also survived 2 US backed coups against his elected government. Drug war is just another in a long history of BS excuses for US imperialism in Latin America.

True re IV. Also along those lines, as x approaches and going into long weekends, the rot of theta can become a factor even in intraday trades.

    Day Trading Options
