    I've heard the story of the Trillions in derivatives and had always thought the same; there are shorts and longs so it doesn't matter what happens...someone will get the cash. BUT what if the winners cannot collect from the losers? That's where a real problem could arise.

    yes, that looks pretty good. Is that code doing anything other than looking at the lowest low/highest high within a band of bars. For example lows identified with lowest low for 5 preceding bars and 5 following bars.

    Any ideas why this bond move would be sustainable. The move seems completely out of proportion with the down move in equities. The PPI was over 7% y-o-y. Who's buying sub 4% yields and why? I feel like I'm missing some part of the equation.

    I understand where you're coming from and agree but what is the text of the law you are citing that gives equal protection. I would guess that the text of the law in question is written in a way to deny it's use for this purpose.

    Well if you want to get technical, the statement is still false because people buying tech stocks (outside of IPOs) were not paying for the internet, they were simply buying an overvalued asset. :)
