Tax cuts have not created a single job

That link shows the birth-death model adjustment @ -193, so without that adjustmnent wouldn't the number actually be 386?

Tax cuts have not created a single job

Why can´t government operate on only a low flat income tax rate? Have you ever thought of that? Why should success be penalized? If the politicans had less money to work with they would be forced to use it for things that truly do benefit EVERYONE. When the tax cuts were initiated all...

Tax cuts have not created a single job

This link "says" that tax cuts account for 48% of deficit and 52% of the deficit is due to increased spending. HOW is 48% "much larger" than 52%?

Tax cuts have not created a single job

Thanks for the link, it's interesting. But that link focuses on the error in estimating individual NUMBERS, which seems to be around 1%. When you use a lot of numbers to create a REPORT, those 1% errors would most likely end up skewing your reports results a great deal.

Tax cuts have not created a single job

If this has nothing to do with taxes then WHY did you title this thread, "Tax cuts have not created a single job"? This implies that tax cuts are at fault and NOW you are claiming that globalization is at fault for the lack of jobs created wihtin the US. I agree with your view of the bleak...

Tax cuts have not created a single job

Do you believe every economist prediction you read? Is that how you base your trades? I'd like to see a comparison of past CBO "predictions" and what really happened. If you think most new jobs created by businesses have been overseas than you would also have to agree that with HIGHER...

    I Love Brazil

Since 98 the long term average price (5years) of sugar had been going down before the recent spike up. For oil it had been going up. Today Oil is up ~400% from '98 price levels compared to sugar up ~200%. The recent runup in sugar may be a result of the realization that ethanol can be...

    I Love Brazil

I read somewhere that 90% of Brazilian vehicles operate on ethanol. With the current high oil prices ethanol probably is more competitive with gasoline.

Tax cuts have not created a single job

You can NOT make a correlation between actual results and one variable in a system as complex as the US economy. Less money going to the government means more money going to consumers(who spend it) and businesses (who invest it) ... both good things for the economy. And stop talking...

Susquehanna International Group vs Group One Trading

SIG is much larger, more diverse, and has a better reputation. If you have an offer from SIG I would highly suggest you choose them over Group One.

    Creating an IRA LLC

SO what your trying to accomplish is to combine all your separate IRA accounts into one large account for additional buying power? And the LLC would be an investment manager taking no fees? If the only money in the LLC account is coming from the entities you mentioned I can't see any...

    Fair Tax of 2005

TradingWise, your are the silly one here. That's a great solution...let's just add another tax so the government can grow even larger and steal more of our money. To be meaningful, any real tax reform will have to be combined with government spending controls and additional government reform...

    Creating an IRA LLC

Zone trooper, Sounds like you have some real genuine interest in helping others and I applaud you for that. Unfortunately I do not belive the IRS will let you benefit substantially while you do it. I can't find the document right now but I believe in determining your tax-free status the...

    Fair Tax of 2005

The real problem here is who is making the decisions. The politicians will never do what's "right"...only what they are paid for. The current tax code allows them to create all sorts of loopholes to favor their biggest contributors I don't like taxes period and really think there should be...

    Creating an IRA LLC

Just today I've been looking at setting up a non-profit in Maryland. In your situation I guess that your not planning to take a salary for your activities. From what I've read it looks like if you're paid as an employee, then the non-profit has to withhold and pay employment taxes on...

    Fair Tax of 2005

BSAM, I was originally a proponent of the fairtax thinking like you that it would be better to tax consumption rather than taxing saving & investment. I do not believe in replacing one broken system with another equally broken system. A consumption tax only system might work but not...
