ok waited for all participants to answer, was my call wrong? 4/5 stocks I shorted are actually lower than they were on monday. The qqqq's are against me, but by a whole 1.6% my shorts are lower by 4%+. I short charts, not markets. I am still long gld, and gold stocks. What have I missed...

I don't think the spoo selling off 30 points would be labeled a crash. Man if someone comes on and says the market is due for a correction they are labeled as doomsayers, trade what you see, and a few of us saw back in early April the mkt was looking tired, it still is. 1250 is a decent...

you are correct sir, it was 4/00, as I recall, that whole month must have been juicy for prop guys. I was still on the sell side, couple years worth of tough times were made up in that month!

nope, but I am short individual names, short the qqqq's for a trade as well. Seasonality not on the bulls side at this point, lots of overhead resistence @ 1310 or so. I am not all out bearish, but do think we could trader down to 1225-1240 or so. Nasdaq looking very tired, more negative...

I'm sorry I wasn't implying that I have been short since '03, I have made decent coin being long, but now I am 80% + or - short and will be thru the elections. I have been long gold and will remain so..long only is for mutual funds.
