US municipal bondholders should be cautious with this. Detroit isn’t the only US city that is struggling significantly financially. We could see other cities taking this route to avoid paying pensions and other benefits.

We might be close to the top though. There are beginning to be cracks in this recovery and it feels like the mom and pop traders are pretty much all in at this point.

Yeah, I’m not convinced that being a commercial pilot is a good idea any more, but being a private pilot is cool if you can afford it.

I don’t think the US is quite Greece, but I do think some of the debt problems need to be addressed. It should concern Americans that the debt is so high and has no foreseeable way to be lowered.

Doesn’t surprise me. Learn to invest yourself and don’t rely on somebody to tell you how to invest. If you learn how to build your own strategies and read the markets you won’t need these people to do your thinking for you.

In a way I guess it works a bit like peer review does. When you post calls in a forum you’re inviting criticism and questions about your strategy and if you actually have serious followers, you’re inviting questions if you deviate from that strategy. It helps you not make those “hunch”...

Kudos to him for re-thinking his values in life. It sounds like he was headed down a road to death if he didn’t stop. I’m all for making money, but to blow it on a dangerous habit seems like such a waste of a human life.

I’d be interested in seeing some posts showing how to use TradersStudio to actually run a system and generate trading signals. I know I can use it to backtest my systems, but I’m not really sure how to use it for actually running a system. Any thoughts on this?
