You are right. I missed that. I trade MO often and the dividend is usually the second week of the month. This december it is later so you will not capture the dividend this month. It is just a plain covered call in that case. Sorry.

Option play i made today. Bought 1000 MO at 72.88. Sold the dec 70 calls @ 3.40. Plan is to let it be called away in 10 days and collect 52 cents premium and also the 80 cents dividend. Comments from option pros?

Almost 60 points down in a GOOG short now. That has to be some kind of record. Shorting monsters without any kind of money management plan is a good way to become poor in this business.

Well the GOOG play is down 50 points now. The QQQQ play is down big. I suspect we are due for a pullback soon but I wonder how smart it is to have stayed short GOOG and QQQQ in the face of the strongest move in the qqq in years.

Lets see, Csco misses and the qqqq cant even pull back 30 cents and is now green. I would not be comfortable with this short if it were my money.

Ouch. 41 points under water in the Goog short and underwater again in the qqqq short as i write this. I am not seeing the wisdom in this kind of trading.
