+$129 on 2 paper trades much more in control will test again tomorrow and then back to real money on monday

Speaking as a rookie myself ---- what I have discovered trading 1 YM contract on a 10k account ----- its easy to lose 500-600 bucks in a day --- and on a 10K account you can't have too many of those days I started thinking I could do 3 trades a day and clear 5-600 bucks a day the market...

+/- $0.00 today no trades after making 22 trades yesterday and being on the wrong side of virtually every one, I decided to step back from the 'addict' side of my personality and do some testing instead

-$510 on 22 trades Did not have the courage of my own convictions today - and that is deadly theres always tomorrow

-$285 on 12 trades coulda done the same thing in 2 experimented some today - but was well in control all day I had a reasonable expectation the market woud reverse off its high in the 1pm timeframe ---- never happened today. but was worth risking 285 bucks to see it not happen

Im just hanging out watching it --- It can sit for a year and Im happy - tech gets pounded repeatedly but it never stays down forever and anyway I only bought 250 shares my 500 share cisco buy is floating around at the bottom of that same tank

The stuff they suck out of the ground in Venezuela is high sulfer/thick as mud glop takes special tankers to ship it and special refining capacity to refine it hard for the stuff to wind up anywhere else besides us gulf refineries
