These books are a little dated. However, they will provided useful information to a newbie looking for a tutorial on Level II.

Had one used the phrase "totally useless" with complete confidence, one would be rather closed minded.
If one chooses the phrase "practically useless" there leaves room for investigation.
However, for practical purposes, the human mind can only absorb so much raw data in a given moment...
D1,
A proper explanation of high % probability patterns and head fakes would need an aweful lot of *words*... the market is fluid and dynamic, all of the many components and nuances that make up the "whole" picture, and the part which level II plays, would constitute me writing a discourse...
I find level II to be an excellent tool when I'm trading thinner stocks that have an ADV between 50K to 750K. The "true intention" of buyers and sellers is more evident on thinner issues, and, one can discern to a reasonable degree where the market is heading once resistance/support areas are...
I just got the PostureFit attachment for the Aeron chair. It really is a big improvement over the lumbar pad.

The attachment is going for $90.00... but I was able to get for $81.00...

the only major difference between Dell and 191T appears to be "no portrait option" (with multiple monitors you'll never use anyway)
For $719, plus 5% off, plus a no questions asked return policy... I would grab these while they last.
For all intensive purposes, this is the...
Excellent price indeed. If I wanted to add 2 - 12 more monitors, I would just add more G200 MMS quad cards, they run out of PCI slots, and all cards would run from 1 driver. With the G200 you can run a max total of 16 monitors from 1 computer.
Its the most efficient, reliable and cost...
With Matrox you need both.
1 Matrox G200 Quad MMS is both a digital/analog video card (comes with analog cables free)
to go digital, you need to buy 2 DVI cables (which power up 4 monitors total)

Couple of caveats.
1. The Ergotron stand is newly designed this year and I do not know if it sets up as nicely as last years model.
I got last years model, it has a "double joint" that allows you to pivot the monitor from right to left AND up and down.
The reason I mention this...
I wish I could attach a file to show my set-up, but the file is too big and isn't being accepted.
Anyway, for visual purposes here is the stand that I use...

I own 4 Samsung 181Ts.
ZERO dead or stuck pixels on any of them.
They are the best LCDs on the market for trading, the super thin bezel makes them perfect for a Quad Ergotron. Every market move is caught in my peripheral vision. There is no wasted space.
100% satisfied.
Good luck...
Drop THINK.
Try this:

Take a very deep breath...
now HOLD it.
Slowly look about the room, be aware of the movement of your head, what you are viewing.
This is a glimpse of awareness. Meditation.
Observe how the mind can...
The centipede was happy, quite,
Until a toad in fun
Said, "Prey, which leg goes after which?"
This worked his mind to such a pitch,
He lay distracted in a ditch,
Considering how to run.

We all start out the year with our bag of tools:
Trading instruments
Time frame preferences
Capital
Margin availability
Risk tolerance
Loss cutting technique
Profit (lock in) technique
We put these tools to work in what we believe to be the most profitable and efficient manner. Our...
I see that more traders found 2002 more difficult than most years.
I too, fit into this catagory. My primary edge was basically useless in 2002. Majority of my total return comes from position trading equities to the long side. As we had no major uptrends that lasted more than 3 weeks until...
I see that there are many who posted results. Thank-you.
Many of you have gained over 100% return or higher for the year.
Would those who earned such outstanding results make a few comments about:
1. Their primary trading vehicle in 2002 (ie. Equities, minis, options, EFTs etc.)
2...
