My two cents: Technical Analysis works on multiple timeframes - short term, long term whatever.... but when you use technical indicators such as MACD, RSI, EMA's etc. you will get more signals on the shorter time frame and these signals will be less reliable - on a longer term time...

The weak payrolls numbers suggest that the fed must continue to cut rates (another 50bp in March?) - leading me to expect further weakness in the USD.... I think the pullback in the EUR we just saw is only noise....

The forex market is great in many ways - lots of volatility, a true 24 hour market, deep liquidity, and the market trades technically - execution is better in futures of course, but you can always trade IMM currency futures if you want -

Hey guys - I concur with alot of the points above. Scalping spot forex for 10-15 pips is very difficult, when you consider the spread that has to be overcome. I agree that for short term you really want to be looking at futures - you can always trade CME EuroFX futures instead of the spot...
