Ron Paul drilling Bernanke a new one..

It's that mentality that keeps echoing in peoples heads that he can't win. Your vote isn't a bet or gamble on who you think will win. It's voting for who you want to be in office. A wasted vote is only one in which you don't believe in what you voted for.

    Simplex Investments in Chicago?

How can you have over 700 posts on this website and not know what volatility trading is? Part of the option pricing formula is volatility, therefore the price of an option can change on nothing more that it being more or less volatile.

Getting a job off of Craigslist

I've found a lot of good jobs off of craigslist. Got two of them through there. Honestly it's better than the big recruiting websites because its free and it allows smaller companies to post there. Just be careful that you know who you are sending your information to.

    InvesTools anyone?

I can't believe that people on ELITE TRADER would even be asking about some investment product being hawked on an infomercial. There is no holy grail to anything in life. Not school, business, investing, relationships or health. You have to learn on your own. For $3000 you might as well...

Goldman Sachs Employs 28,000: Average Pay Per Employee is $400,000

How does that qualify as journalism? Seriously how can you take a mean value when you have extremes like the CEOs pay. Why don't they take the geometric mean or the median or something that doesn't cause the data to skew?

True reason behind ICE bid for CBOT

I'm surprised too. NYC is pulling the strings, they don't want Chicago to control the derivatives market. ICE can say all they want about putting their headquarters in Chicago, but all their day-to-day activities will take play in Manhattan. The CBOT does all their clearing through the CME...

Is it realistic to average $17.50 a day trading YM with 3.5k ??

$17, about 1-2 ticks on the YM. Sorry if I'm off I don't follow the YM but you can make 1 tick by accident. What's the daily range? What are you using to determine when to get in a trade? What is your risk reward/ratio? Is your perceived advantage too small for some trades you are getting...

True reason behind ICE bid for CBOT

I think NYC is the sole reason behind the ICE bid. ICE states that it will headquarter in Chicago but you know most of its operations will be in NYC. NYC feels threatened by Chicago and they don't want to lose their monopoly. I mean the large NYC investment banks are backing ICE for a reason.
