Nothing you said changes my opinion that it is a valid point of view to look at it as an 11% loan to pay out as a dividend. They could cut the dividend to "bolster reserves that will increase solvency". They don't *need* this loan for extra capitol, they need it to maintain the dividend...

I don't really know much about this deal, but it sorta looks like the end result is they're borrowing at 11% in order to give it out as a dividend... :confused:

So a "non-ISO" order wouldn't execute book depth automatically? I thought that you had to specifically place an ISO order to not execute book depth. I thought that was the point of it.

I and (especially) whoever it was who placed the order that I didn't get were scammed wouldn't you say? I didn't get filled, and the person who placed the order paid way more than I was willing to sell it for.

According to http://www.nasdaqtrader.com/trader/tradingservices/regnms_factsheet.pdf : InterMarket Sweep Order (ISO) This order indicates that the order has already checked all other protected quotes before coming to NASDAQ. It trades on NASDAQ and does not route out to external markets.

From my understanding, a broker or ECN only sends their best bid and ask to Level 2. When a big market order comes through, it's within market rules for them no t fill you if you aren't represented on Level 2, even if it trades above/below your offer/bid. Like I said, out of the 1000's of...

Today I placed a limit order to sell short CUB (AMEX) at 46.19 with TD Ameritrade. At least 15 minutes after I placed the trade, it spiked up to 46.38 but I didn't get filled. I talked to someone in TD Ameritrade trade resolution and he said it was an "intermarket sweep". Is this legit...

Looking through your trades, it looks like you would have done much better if you hadn't used the "limit scalp" at all, and traded both contracts how you traded the second one. This would have made your very impressive results much more impressive. Have you thought about that?
