    Exit methods for trend-traders

hmm... I'd like to take a guess at this. Using profit targets and price action. Whichever comes first. Having a point set profit target that is statistically meant to capture majority of maximum moves. Or exit when price structure says it's time to get out. Such as a reversal setup.

    Exit methods for trend-traders

Simple idea, but sounds like it would work. Although I would probably just use a higher timeframe. A problem I think may happen is that it leaves too much money on the table. Once I get 200+ ticks in favor I don't like giving up much. Something worth looking into though. Maybe the...

    Exit methods for trend-traders

Parabolic stop works well most of the time. Problem I find that it doesn't know when I enter a trade. I trade from 1hr chart, and in most cases I don't start trailing until several hours have passed. This is exactly what I want. I want to give price time and space for it to mature. Thing is...

    Exit methods for trend-traders

I'm not sure how parabolic is calculated. It's supposed to be some complex formula which makes it a trading system of its own... I use it for trailing stop. When I was researchin last year I read a few posts about swing traders using parabolic stops. Out of curiosity I started to play with...

    Exit methods for trend-traders

good question... I've been meaning to ask the same. I've used EMA before. I want to capture majority of the big moves, and I felt this did it... but left too much money on the table. Now I use parabolic stop for a trailing stop. It performs much better. It gives prices plenty of room and...

Trade on nothing but price action

I don't find anything wrong with indicators either. They're just tools to me. But if you don't know how to use them properly these tools are worthless. have a good sleep Andy

    5 minutes forex trading system

Not bad at all. It's better than the system I built. As far as not being afraid of losing money. It just takes time.

    5 minutes forex trading system

1000 divide 5 pairs = 200 pips per market. Not bad actually, and for the price compared to other vendors it's a small risk in comparison. Even if a signal service is profitable, I think there is a big price to pay. You become dependant rather than independent. Not good for longevity in this...
