    ignoring crude action?!

The other day I posted commenting on the crude-centric mkt. , and iquiring how you all dealt with it. Allmost everyone responding were claiming they more or less ignored it. Now, with its at times somewhat irrational effect (far from perfect inverse relationship), it still seems to be the...

Crude (QM / CL) closes 666 excactly

hmm.... ok....seriously, I've had a great day, well that makes a couple of exceptional days actually, but for tonite I find myself at a loss to trigger any more trades - but eod scenario @ + 1220.5 (50 % retrace from springs rally) makes me doubt - yeah, guess I should stay aside, and...

how are u all dealing with this crude-centric mkt.?

Curious to your inputs, because as much as the reactions are irrational, the mkt. is still so focused on crude that it's instrumental for any intra-day positions - as I see it we're back to "70 not being the low perhaps after all?" on a side note, as logical it might be, the whole thing is...

Anyone else suprised by this lack of action?

All in all, the dax have been sporting a 15 % rally during the summer, so all considered, a 1-2 % down reaction is interestingly mild - crude on top

    sept 11 anniversary

your quote "Those attacks didn't distinguish between any of our usuall class, economic, racial or educational backgrounds" ,as much as one could argue to its quirky absurd truth, your quote screams out with your omission of the most recent event that, granted not geopolitics wise, but in...

When Do Bond Yields Really Hurt Stocks?

The question should perhaps rather be, have we for now returned to the common inverse function bond yields had on stock prices of yesteryears/all times, adhering to the normal focus on the importance of low yields stimuli on the economy - ending the era of neutral influence or the "investors...

Direct access speed - xTrader and altertives

I've brought this issue up as part of an earlier post but it was also covering lots of other stuff, so I probably never really got an answer to this particular issue due to my many other questions. Since it nonetheless is a crucial issue to me I'm asking again now. So...if you have an...

Anyone here using Velocity Fut. or Global Fut.?

Thanks for all the replies, appreciate your insight. As I've just written in a follow up thread - http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?threadid=52959 - I'm considering a Transact / Trademaven combo if I can negotiate a good commission deal with them AND if their seems to be a conscensus...

Quality of executions with Transact/using Trademaven

As some of you might have noticed Transact now offers Trademaven as an alternative to theirs TransAct platform. Does anyone have experience with that combination. Reason I'm asking, is that I as posted in another thread yesterday - http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?threadid=52917 -...
