I am still holding it. I don't like the entry at 54.35. Quickly melt away my KNDL profits. But usually after an emotional opening. MM will sell the stock at around 10'o clock reversal. I think next time when a stock gap up and extended way outside the Bollinger Band. I am gonna try to...

Sold half of my position on KNDL and will hold the rest. My first profitable Hershey trade... but I am still in the red because of all the goofy things I did learning this stuff. If the market extends up, things will be good.

No problem. If you didn't point out, I wouldn't know I should be using slow stochastics. Thanks. Actually I did search the old journal to confirm.

I will change to Slow Stoch. Thanks. I still have not finished reading the old journal and background stuff.... too damn daunting. Maybe I should at least finish the old thread. Thanks again.

Actually, we are trading the dynamics and not the settings so I suspect all the MACD and stochastics settings won't make too big a difference in the long run.

Hi gooch87, I am not questioning your chart... Actually I also suspect the stochastic level too because I did not look after my order was in already for the better or for the worse. In the cheat sheet, SpyderTrader mentioned stochastics and I assume it is the fast stochastics which is the...

Hi Doug, Congrat on your trade! Looking at your posted chart. I think you are using the default MACD setting and not the cheat sheet setting.

That's from reading gooch87 post. I did not really look where stochastic was when the lower band volume met. Maybe I am OK then! Thanks. Actually I have a question about the order of events, if lower band volume met first and then the stochastic follows, I would think that is a valid...

I long NTRI because I try to get ahead of you guys... now I am stuck with it :( It turns out the stochastic backed off when lower band met. I think NTRI (Nutri System?) is gonna make my wallet thinner. :D

Thanks! Spydertrader. P.S. GMXR were actually stopped out this morning. I think I did not to hit the confirm button (half-hidden... need to scroll the window) when changing the stop... haven't traded stocks for some time.

Actually how good is this 2% stop Ross rule? I thought it's a bit tight. I end up give it a bit more room for practical purpose.

I am an idiot. I forgot to move my stop for GMXR to 5% which I thought I did. When I try to sell my 200 today to take some profits, they are not there. It was stopped out yesterday. I think I am always gonna use 5% hard stop now and 2% as the mental stop on the first day... otherwise...

I am completely new to this but I am into it because I like the volume dry up concept. After tipping the toe a bit, I feel there is a lot of "art" to this stuff and will reread the old posts. Anyway, I also feel we need some kind of macro scan along with this stuff because when the market...

Hi Doug, Where do you get the DUVolume() and PeakVolumeJack() indicators for Tradestation? Did you program it yourself? Thanks. Regards, William
