Why not just print money without borrowing?

US has the most&best weapons and this far better than gold which is backed by some freakish religions. Why do you think Russia and CHINA buy so much ? For protection. It works for US. And looks like US coming out in the best shape globally... As this truth comes out slowly and occupies more...

    Kudos to MMs

among other things you need bloody thick skin to be success in trading. Jelaous remarks intended to hurt, can stop you temporarily. Especially can hurt after not so good period of trading. Motivation and good system diversification is the key in my opinion to overcome that crap.

High Speed Trading Unfair To Retail Traders

no news to me. my rule: what I would do if I had all the info and the money and connections, can brake law, etc, to rob other traders. Well, that is what I am exposed to when trading. However, there are ways to minimise/avoid it and possibly use it. Intelligence helps here.

I think he is really referring to the fact that he has not yet accepted the system as his own and does not like/trust it. At least this was my problem. Not $ but emotional cost of doing something that not quite fits (yet). You need time to convince yourself that works. On the other hand good...

    Dualflation

dont know about the name but second scenario you mention is likely or already happening. I also believe price rigging is supported by governmet (on selective basis, i guess) which will get prices further out of line. link between what it cost to produce X, versus the price consumer pays has...
