Pls help me understand the OP's question... Is he referring to straight-up black-box automated trading strategies? Or is he also referring to chart settings i.e., eSignal charts with RSI, ADX, Stochastics, etc. customized with non-default chart settings? Excuse my lack of knowledge...

No trader ever really *quits* trading. Especially if you were a losing trader... Since you've been at it for 4/5 years, it will be nearly impossible for you to quit You will scrounge up some more trading capital and eventually wind up losing it all until you are homeless or you kill...

This change in trading will kill many FX traders who are not able to adapt

I agree that charts *alone* don't determine a trader's strategy - risk management is just as if not more important BUT all traders start and hone their strategy based on the effectiveness of their chart settings... I see and and understand ur point about the broker's means of making money but...

Sorry - I should have specified that I was referring to bucketshops NOT regular brokers... Specifically FX Bucketshops

Too bad there is nothing similar for US nor UK FX Brokers... As far as I know that only broker that has any type of bankruptcy-insurance is Deutsche Bank... My broker is FXCM and I know that they have tons of capital but I still sometimes think that the broker might go under...
