ooops, i done it again.... long from 99.54 pivot when it held support. last stop move was to 100.08. still long. might take this into the close.

i am using limit orders b/c of two things. primarily, i still want to limit the 'range' of my entry. i like to enter very close to a pivot, because my stop is behind that. a limit order also needs no conversion (from a market order)...it goes straight to the market for execution. NQ sounds...

no i have SPY, MSFT, and QQQ up on the screen....rarely watch anything else..... i will be trading ES when my size gets bigger....started with SPY b/c it allowed me to scale into my trading :)

agreed...when i say 'proper position' i mean you are in a position that is in the direction of the liquidity....news almost always just magnifies current liquidity paths.

took my position long at the 945 pivot #....100.33 on SPY....countertrend entry. was looking good until 951, when i reversed position at pivot # 100.33. was short until pivot # 99.55 failed and reversed for 1030 reversal (albeit a bit early, but i always reverse after failure of first good...

when you are trading well, and have a proper position....just think of the news as a 'turbo' button :)
