Yes i do this, I have done it a long time. Your software should have a feature that puts all $$$$$$ to cover the P&L.

Never a stupid question. A draw is when you get paid each week or bi weekly. I.E if you get a 4k draw you get a thousand a week and this 4k comes off your total p&l for the month, one or two bad months you would be -8k for two plus whatever you are down trading. It's good when times get tough...

Yes the OP story does make sense weather it was trading 300,000 shares a day or swing trading or investing. I myself have not went down that road of losing that much capital but i have hit a rut. I know people with similar stories to the OP. It is an addiction weather people want to believe it...

You are always to have your focus on the stock and what it is doing. Not the money or your position. Certain markets and time of the day call for certain position size.

The term is per share. 1k per ticket is an old term. 200,000 shares = 200 tickets per day. I have heard of a per ticket deal and you get charged each execution. To clarify the 25k rule, it means you have the capital to risk in the markets. If 25k is all you have and you are risking it in the market and happen to lose it all, hence the law suits that came in the early 2000 era. IMO they are protecting the people from themselves is how i see it.
