A lot of the grain trade is export related and I am sure overseas desks are hedging and speculating in all of the 24hr futures markets. The relatively large bid/ask spreads do not mean that there is no market depth. There is size lurking at every level. GC

I have been charting USO along with CL because on some ID time frames the 24 hr charts are not as clear as the regular session charts. GC

It is coiling for a big move and on the cash jpy/usd daily there is a head and shoulders developing. I have been scaling in and out of the futures for the past month. While I have been early, there have been so many swings that my average price came down to these levels. Regards, GC

In general one has to reorient oneself to 24 hr ID charts which is a challenge. Copper, I only traded it once in the night session, but the bid/ask spread seems to be more reasonable when London opens. Crude and the JY, BP and even YG are the ones to trade if you are looking for action...
