With Bush coming out with a speech at 11:30am, odds of a SDD increase greatly. Will be glad when we won't have to hear him, Paulson and Benny speak anymore. Sick of their "good-for-nothing" speeches and BS.

Probability of that happening by the end of 2008 is small. Unless there is some unforeseen event by the end of the year.

Bernanke and Paulson should keep their fat traps shut as they never say anything of value. They always talk as if their bear no responsibility. Makes me laugh every time. Whenever they're on, best to just turn the volume down as they say nothing of value and of things we don't already know.

Republicans are revolting against the bailout plan. Just an assumption but McCain will rally the Republicans together to support it and will come out looking like a hero. If so, all part of the bigger picture......... Not saying that it will happen but I wouldn't be surprised if it did.
