    What would you do?

To OP: At 34, with your home, kids' education, and retirement pretty much covered, if I were you, unless the job is KILLING you, I would continue to work another 8-10 years to get your financial future absolutely nailed down AND THEN SOME. You could set aside a 'trading fund' in the meantime...

DO NOT buy any pre-owned computers from Moody's

It's a freakin' joke. As traders ... we think in probabilities. So ask yourself how many times in an average week you made any error (in calculation, timing, JUDGEMENT, etc., whatever ... ) vs how many times your computer made a mistake, and there you have the likely probability that some...

You are supposed to miss the run (sort of) ... first you have a pivot, then it goes 10 points one way or the other, then you FADE the 10 point move. The play is the fade of the 10 point move. The pivot simply marks/identifies the start of the 10-point move which you are going to fade. I...

No .. (see my "edit") The (+/-) peaks Volente reviewed for today seem pretty clear on a 5-min. chart, but for all I know others may use something different.

It can't be planned a day in advance ... it's based off the pivots that develop during the session. Vol, correct me if I'm wrong. edit: clarification - "pivots", meaning peaks and valleys

    Prepping for the trading day

I think fibs work best when in confluence with other S/R levels - as do most things. Good trading.
