I have been having a similar problem. I solved it by selecting View>Refresh>Reload. Seems to work for me as it reloads the chart data.

:cool: It has been my experience that the last hour pop is one of the most reliable winning trades in stock index futures. I just look for a decline into support which holds and then put a buy stop above that bar's high with a stop loss below the low of the same bar.

What makes you think this is options expiration related? Late pops into the close happen just about every day. Position squaring, Buy programs? I don't know but I do know money can be made looking for it to start.

I agree with you about printing out intraday charts. There is nothing better than building a notebook of charts on paper and then taking time away from the computer to look them over. I have found price patterns this way that I didn't see while staring at the computer.

Has anyone been able to code this pattern in Tradestation as a trading system? I have tried but can't seem to be able to get it to work the way I want.

I see from your chart that you use a 133 tick chart. Is there any specific reason for this? I use a 200 myself. I have found it to be much more consistent for these reversals than a 1 or 2 minute chart, especially on slower days.

why didn't you bite on the Higher Low that was put in soon after 16:27? I am curious as to where you would have entered a long on this setup? I took it once it got above 1064 with a target of 1069.5 (the distance from the first high to the higher low).

I was told by one of their reps (Mike) at the Online Trading Expo in August that it was coming out in December. Then I heard it was coming out Q1 2003. Now I believe they are simply not saying. This is too bad since they could really use a better futures order entry screen.

I have been using TS 6 for a little over a year for trading eminis. Reliability has been outstanding. In my opinion it is an excellent platform.
