    DOW futures down 800

Last night,I survived a LIMIT DOWN on $MNQ_F. And I was up even nicely $CL_F. This morning I made $ on $AMD despite halt. Then I got involved in $UWT. Made good $ in morning then later on got totally wiped out! Feel like sh*t for losing all that hardearned gains on one stupid trade...

    DOW futures down 800

While people panicking, I'm up nicely trading CL, QM, and MNQ tonight. Done for the night. Can't wait for tomorrow for more actions. I'm relatively cautious and trade on smaller accounts. As I get better, I can put up good numbers. @dozu888 , he's a long term investors. Of course, in super long...

Interesting enough, IB shows bid/ask prices moving. But it means we can't execute through these prices?

Who needs markets when you have Central Bank Intervention?

If you ZOOM out and look at the MONTHLY chart, then in 2015 SPY was between roughly $182 to $216. But let's be generous and say his average price (@dozu888 ) was $200 on SPY or there equivalent(Vanguard index funds etc). Friday, SPY closed at $295. So, he's up 47.5% +/- 10-20% since 2015. Not a...

    The Road to Consistency

It's all about perspectives. Today, I lost about one day's worth of gains across 3 accounts. Not the end of the world. In the past, my accounts would be totally blown out! Meaning I would be double double digit percentage on these crazy down moves. I've come a long way from my old ways of...

1000 points up or 1000 points down is meaningless over time.

That's not the right mindset as a short-term trader unless you are an investor. In the long run, we are all dead! So nothing matters. But in the short term, a LOT can happen. Therefore, being able to capitalize on short term fluctuations, be they big or small, is in essence what short term...

I'm trying to take advantage of volatility while it lasts.

Analysis: Why the Fed Is Likely to Cut Again

I'm not complaining. Made some of my best profits in Feb and the gravy train continues in March. All on the LONG side. Anyhow, I'm just criticizing from a POLICY perspective NOT from a trading perspective. It's bad policy that will haunt all of us for years to come...
