Lawrence We covered a couple points of the gap. Is 100% of the gap usually covered?

Long and leveraged commodities, loss hit 30%. Which was important, funds are ususally locked in for years, but a 30% loss allowed 100% redemption within a month, so instead of being handed his balls by the market once the monthly numbers were released he has been unwinding and the rest is history.

This is just a replay of the last 2 weeks, NQ pushing ES to the low 60`s. Doubt we break the 60 area. As for the NQ gap, we are down 23 points already on air, not sure that this gap can be filled today, but tomorrow is another day.

Not sure all of this means anything, since volume is still brutal. Easy to push this market around...

NQ PA is very bearish right now. It is trying to form a bottom around the 40, 3 test so far since the open.

68 would be his bottom...

We need Apple/Rimm and Google to start moving, once that starts happening NQ will move up and ES will move quickly.

Lawrence Last week and the week before saw the same thing, NQ selling brought ES into the 60`s where it sat until the nq selling stopped then the nq recovery took es into the 90`s..... edit es wants to go up but nq does not....

While you learn I suggest you trade 1 QM, your training may be less expensive.... Look at the Charts, and try to understand the Price action around cerain levels and trendlines. Be careful

Last time I looked when commodities prices go down so do the stocks associated with the commodities. Oil goes down, exxon goes down, gold goes down, barrick goes down. So yes it is possible that the indexes were impacted today, since I am sure he was selling before tonights anouncement...
