Comfortable and egronomic yet priced right (less than $500) chair for trading

I am looking for a new chair too. Bought a $100 one at Costco and it didn't cut it. No recommendations, but here is a link that might be helpful...

Yes...things are happening! Tomorrow is not going to be boring, and that is all a trader can ask for.

    Importance of trading plan!

You don’t have to have anything. Everyone creates their own reality in the markets, and you are completely free to proceed in any way you choose. What I am saying it is better to let the market create your plan, rather than execute some b.s. plan you came up with that is not based on actual...

    Importance of trading plan!

I vote for starting with no plan. Just start trading on day 1 with small size and buying and selling wherever the hell you feel like it. The market will show you soon enough how you should be trading.

    Trading Ranges, Support, and Resistance

Interesting. Well, I will go for the 80% win probability because I don't have a crystal ball telling me how long the trend will last.

    Trading Ranges, Support, and Resistance

So you would rather go for a 20% percent chance of winning instead of 80%?

    Trading Ranges, Support, and Resistance

Not sure if this is completely accurate, but it explains why buying support and selling resistance will usually work. The skill comes in taking profits and managing your exit if the trade goes against you.

    ES EOD Momentum...yowza!!

I am feeling you. The amazing thing is the daily pullbacks are getting shallower and shallower, and the gains are getting quicker and quicker. If that isn't a danger signal, what is? When was the last time the ES traded more than a 100 points below its all-time high? As far as I can tell it...

    Trading Ranges, Support, and Resistance

Good luck. One caveat, I don't know what market you trade, but you need to find one where S/R is apparent, whatever timeframe you are on. If it's a raging bull market, just buy support. Opposite for a bear market.

    ES EOD Momentum...yowza!!

Yes, well it did suck for the latter part of last year, but ever since New Years' the market has been going parabolic. Things are definitely different than last year -- it feels different. A big decline sooner than later is not out of the question. The summer of 2008 certainly wasn't boring.

    ES EOD Momentum...yowza!!

I don't know about y'all, but I was really pumped up when the market closed on Friday. It was hard to stop thinking about what had just happened. The action in the last hour and a half was amazing, and the action in the last 30 mins was incredible. I track averages of volume in the ES, and I...

    Trading Ranges, Support, and Resistance

Yes, you should! I love your question because you already answered it. This is how it's done. You just have to have the balls to do it. Don't back test, front test. Buy and sell EVERY level you determine to be support and resistance with the smallest size possible and see how you do. NEVER...

    CME e-quotes now available

I thought they WERE the datafeed. Here we are in the 21st century and it's the same old story. They charge too much (they jack up the prices with "extra" services that should be included) and the dumb thing doesn't work.

    CME e-quotes now available

Looks like "Streaming Tick" charting with the e-minis is going cost an additional $65 a month, on top of the $30 fee. They also have a "Data Only" version of the real time e-mini quotes for $10 a month. Can any of you programmers tell me if this data only version could be fed into a charting...
