It depends on how you measure your wealth. Most do it in financial terms but some do it in terms of making a difference in the life of others. The satisfaction of having someone thank you for helping them cannot be measured in dollars.

I've found that one of the best ways to test a system is to try and prove that it doesn't work. Good luck with your test.

Doesn't Woodie use a 10 or 12 point stop? Is there a statistical reason for the 26 point stop or is that toal points? Are you risking 26 points to make 10 on the first contract?

If you have the discipline only allow yourself 2 or 3 trades per day. This forces you to wait for the best set-ups. If you don't have the discipline go to a casino. You might as well enjoy yourself as you lose your money.

So you're looking to make 150% per year before taxes What kind of drawdown are you willing to take to earn that kind of return? Gotta have some risk for that kind of reward. I agree there is no magic. But there is no formula that works all the time either.

So after verifying that I can make money trading for 5 years in a row. If my method does not suit your personality what good does it do either of us? It's not so much methodology as emotional control that make the difference. No one but you can control fear and greed.

Take a second look at this. Define "succsessful strategy" and whether it is your ability to find one or your ability to follow one.
