I am trading now at 24" and 1920*1080 and I am trying to make something happen really anyway. I simply do not understand why people consider 27" when they have 24" my past one was something like 19", if I will change mine 8 years old it will be something to 29-30" or 32" full one 1440p, no less.

Still out of my mind why people buy so powerfull machines where any gamer can game basically few times one game. All you need now is like 4 cores, like 16GB memory max fast one DDR4 and speedy SSD or M.2 and that's really it, all else is very very optional.

Many times have passed since that, basically like 5 years or so but I can tell you that 4K monitors are still out of touch for many many niches and I do not recommend them at all , 1080p is basically all you need, maybe 1440p, but that's it so do not try to make it just for the sake of it.

Yes, I laughed hard when I have read something about loser trader with like 8 monitors for whole setup, just don't do it really. You really shouldn't at all anyway. We have now something like 40" screen which we can divide like 8 times already and that's it.

I would say that is even much more big anyway I would say, I can buy something like 256GB for some reliable SSD for like I am not sure, maybe $20-$25 today, okay it's maybe from the cheapest options, but still, let it be $30.

You need that your hardware will be capable of that output anyway and nothing more than that really. And when laptop have HDMI and VGA ports, it usually do not work at all at 1440p, just my little observation here for anything done.

I can tell that from all the life period of that SSD's which is like for example already sort of ten years or something like that it's really improved a lot and they are not broke itself after month or two or something like that really. Situation fixed and progress as well.

Well at last we can be proud cause we do something domestic cause of really good quality, it's really an improvement and with Trump it's probably will be much more good anyway. Thanks in advance for reminding me this, I bet it will be usefull for someone as for me it's very big.

Some solid gaming cards allow you to connect few monitors, just be sure they are all same ports, for example all VGA, all DVI, all DP, all HDMI cause you may not connect them probably at once and working if they are connected to different ones.

I usually simply control the whole process when I am on mobile and nothing really more than this and that's it. For sure some serious trading I do only on desktop with ethernet internet access with 1GBPS and few monitors, that's for me.

Well, basically any card which can allow you to connect 3 monitor of the same type. For example I have Radeon with 4 display ports and 2 DVI anyway and here I am not sure I can connect 3 of them if they will be different, see my point ? But if all display port - no problem.

To begin with you need usually to start with something small, something like that from all you listed should be something like that here - 2x2 (4 monitor) array of 24 inch HD IPS monitors all other variants maybe will not needed for this later.

This is very old thread and I really do not know how much it really costs in the end today, but in 2019 it's more than sure that 27" is nothing unusual and maybe even 30" so I think some $300 model from ASUS of this devices will suit you very well for trading needs.

I highly doubt that in case of such like yours it will be possible to use anything like two external monitors and not using laptop one, VGA and HDMI was done here to connect laptop display plus ANY ONE of that devices and that's it probably.

I think all that soft, I mean trading soft can be run basically on every modern device now, damn even something like 10 years old will be really capable to handle it, and lof of old video cards can handle monitors, few of them at least.

I never even own a single tablet, you really let me know does that tablets can be really connected to desktop as some monitors or such ? I simply do not get it really. Please do explain cause they are all different in your case and I am a bit lost there.
