I am not sure how I missed this, but just realized TOS is adding options for index futures.
Sweet
Time to start researching strategies. Love this trading gig, always something new to get lost in... I might need to get a life
Shoot, I still don't communicate well in posts after all this time.
In reference to the break of the trend line, I used the wrong tense. I should have said, IF the trend line and the "flag" break to the upside...
Seems like we are alternating leaders between all four.
SPY then DIA then IWM then QQQ.
I would think that if we can get three of them the same direction, the chop will end abruptly
Would this be considered a bull flag?
After a strong move up, it didn't close outside the white bar on several subsequent hours.
Plus, long term downtrend line is following perfectly.
It would seem, that the break of both the flag and the trend line would be strong buy signals, no?
That's pretty funny, and shows how far off the edge you have gone. I didn't put an opinion of mine in that post, not at all. How do you know I don't agree with the story, or that I am long as hell right now, which I am.

"I think the current financial crisis looks to me like the worst one since we got into the Depression," says Richard Sylla, who teaches the history of financial institutions at New York University's Stern School of Business.
Which is...
I used to think paper trading was worthless, and didn't teach a thing. Then, I started journaling my trades, with each bit of logic behind the trades, and, MOST importantly, I had a column on the spreadsheet that was for emotion. Yes, even on paper trade, I had emotions because I truly tried...
Seems pretty logical.
Why KRE instead of XLF? XLF seems like a financials indicator, while KRE seems like a banking indicator.
Are you using this analysis to help you trade?
Not true, everything runs in cycles. By the time you are done, the cycle might be back on the upswing... Do what interests you, and let it all fall in place from there.
OK, then I left off a few in my question
all in
xlf, xlv, xlu, xlk, xlb, iyz, xle, xlp, xli, xly
You may want to research by % of s&p as well, and sort accordingly. I did not in my post.
Wish you the best.
