i was able to get a trial version of hyperorder. we'll see if i can set it up and run it successfully :)

i use ts2000i + metaserver + IB. works good. i would be interested in what auto-trading option you end up using. i think hyperorder is still available, but no clue if it would be best.

in tradestation, click view -> chart options -> symbol. uncheck the "show empty" periods you will see there. in Globalserver the times can be entered to start/stop for each period. if break was from 12 to 1 you would have it like - (open)monday 0800 (close)monday 1200. then next line would be...

open acct. w/ interactive brokers (they have paper trading available) download free version of bracket trader. sim trade all you want. :) (u could also hook up free QuoteTracker charts to IB feed)
