IMHO, it depends on your objective. If you really want to be put the stock at your $29 strike then, by all means, sell the put. But since you indicated you only have $3k in your account does it really seem wise to put all your eggs in one basket?

I would ask your broker. I imagine it would be okay but since, if I understand you right, you don't have the cash to buy the stock to exercise the option there might be some additional charges. Wouldn't it be just as good to close the option trade and take your profit that way?
