robert- i've been looking over some other software...and it seems to me it would be nice to have some type of programable alert system like some of the other packages offer for ex: being able to set an alert that would show stocks in the s& p that had a five min bar w/ a low but higher close...

just another note regarding pivot points...if you're using Real Tick3...pull up an intra -day chart ( 5 min or 10 min are good for this exp) , now right click on the chart...go to "attributes" then click on "show pivot points"...and there you go, pivot points, just another reason why I love...

ok I'm also looking for good futures software...I have a Realtick acct...for stocks and wish they had futures too, but the guys at terranova said it probably won't be until January...and thats too long my friends!!! so maybe I'll open an acct at IB...but they don't have any charting , or do...

ok so Don did give a little more insight to the "bright" strategies. My hat goes off. And here's my addition for those wanting to find correlated stocks...this comes from a Bright trader , or so he said he was... www.market-topology.com i don't do pairs, i don't have any affiliation with that...

ChrisRT Thanks for posting that link! I've been looking for something to replace my terranova acct when I switch to a pro firm, and this looks like good stuff for little $ someone else had told me about quickens realtime charts...but this ird stuff is almost identical to RT3. So thaks again...

yeah I just hit the driving range or go mountain biking for the day...might be a good winter so you'll find me on the slopes of MT Snow, VT for any winter time fed meetings. Pray for Snow!:cool:

I always take the day off on a fed-decision days. It's just not worth the risk for me.

my second hand opinion(for what thats worth) I talk to someone who is w/ Echo...and he told me that the echotrade software really blows for charts(and when I say really, I mean lewinsky style baby) but the execution is just as fast or faster than others, so what he does is use echo for order...

hold on a second! I also interviewed with All-tech, it was about six months ago so maybe things are different now but this is what they told me. 1) I had to put up $5000...just like you said, and any losses came out of that( what risk are they taking?) 2)cheap r/t's if you use ATTAIN...
