Yeah, right after the huge bear market is done. It's quite true that we are oversold and due for a cleansing rally, but it'll be a bear market rally...just to squeeze the shorts before we resume heading down..

Nice entry. Tried that myself and just missed getting filled (hit but not filled).

No conviction here, so closing out at 1454.75 for +2 and waiting for a better entry. (Hope I don't miss the train.)

Hope I didn't jump the gun, but I just went long on a buy stop at 1452.75 with a sell stop below LOD. If Apex gets his 1447, I'll be stopped out and have to re-enter.

I've been gradually watching bullish divergence propagate from the 4-hour chart all the way now to the 1-minute chart (with the notable exception of the 60-min, but both 4h and 30min show it). Finger is on the trigger. As soon as they run out of sell stops, this thing's going up.

Well, if you really have a 95%-successful setup, I guess I can buy that. I've never found one of those.

While I suppose any profitable trade is a "good" one, a 4 point stop for a 3 point profit target? Not my idea of R/R...

Is that your principle #12? Any chance you'd post the whole list? Or if you've already done so, could you provide a link? Good stuff!

IHS projects rise to ~1403, which is still well below swing high of 1407. So IHS could fulfill its upside target and then the downmove could continue. In that scenario, both of you would be right. :)

Long ES small size from 1391.75. TL touch on my daily and weekly ES chart. I'm not much of a bottom caller of falling knife catcher, so I'll need more confirmation before adding on here. EDIT: Nice little mini-IHS bottom on 240T chart, just broke through neckline. Also nice reversal bar on...

I had a small short in the ES with the same result. My 2.5-point stop would up 6 points in the red. Looking at the 240-tick chart, I've never seen anything like it. Looks like two giant programmed trading computers got into a fight with one another. Virtually anyone who had a trade in at the...

NQ is absolutely going to hell. Hopefully it'll lead the ES with it. Still short from 1422.50.

Now THAT is something I can identify with. I just HATE give-back days! Having said that...just added to my short on the pop at 1416.50. (I'm NOT at 5x my average daily gain...yet. ):) EDIT: Uh oh! stopped out on my add-on. Humble pie for breakfast this morning.
