Getting into daytrading and starting with Echotrade questions??

Echo, Bright, Riverstar, and one or two other groups. All in all not a lot of traders in Atlanta like you would think given the size of the city. Some good traders though. Quality over quantity. :D

    A perfect strategy ... ? Yes ...

I like it, you should find the numbers on closed end fund performance though, they might be a bit better than the overall number because being closed end they should have a better handle on costs/port turnover, etc. and so on, and possibly better overall management than the avg fund.

    Laptop Brand Selection

IBM thinkpads have always been my best laptops, (I've had 2 thinkpads, 3 inspirons, and a compaq) however they are always seemingly 3 months behind Dell and others with regard to chipsets or graphics cards. Right now for example, I don't think IBM sells a laptop on par with Dell's inspiron...

    Tasr

I think alot of the the TASR buyers (daytraders anyway) have left for TINY today, with all the nano hype, the index creation and the low floats on most of those stocks. The chart is somewhat similar to TASR's last Jan.

    Republicans Return to their Roots.

The provision of the Acts of 1863 and 1865 that established the national banking system were designed to remedy two perceived defects of the antebellum state banking system. So if I'm a buyer in the next 1-4 weeks am I missing out on anything "major" going with the Northwood 3.2 ghz with the 800 mhz bus and the 400 mhz DRAM? I mean are these Prescott chips rolling out any day now? My situation is basically this. I have a 3.2 ghz p4 I trade on at work with the...

    Total beginner here/ACD

I tried to automate it on equities and it didn't work very well due to slippage when wrong, however I think it would work better with Futures that are more fluid. There is a link somewhere on ET to his seminar that is archived either on the cboe or cbot website. All in all its one of the...
