Herniated disk with nerve being pinched

I found those guys the day I posted and have been going through them and asking my son about trying them, but also checking with his doc to see that he is good with it. He has tried body weight hangs with his feet on the ground, and the first time he said it seemed to help. He is in...

    Baron's Journey to Single-Digit Bodyfat

I was just thinking about this thread yesterday. I have the chance to be part of a PhD project where they are using 3 different measures for body fat as part of their study. I just have to get down to Alabama 2 times at least 6 weeks apart. The last time down there the person running it was out...

Herniated disk with nerve being pinched

Torture for sure, but I hope he doesn't have to go with that option.

Herniated disk with nerve being pinched

He is a nurse, but the injury occurred away from work. It looks like in the video he does some of what I found, which is the McKenzie Method. I am trying to get him to ask his doctor what he thinks about the method, as he isn't going to listen to me, and justifiably so as I am not knowledgeable...

Herniated disk with nerve being pinched

I know not a medical site, but I have found there are plenty of people here with experiences and knowledge that maybe helpful. The oldest has a herniated disk at L5 and it is impinging on the nerve. He has lost feeling in his foot and is in pretty strong pain. He was given Vicodin, but worried...

Lebron James is garbage- why is he silent on this?

Nope, nothing racist about that statement. ROFL! Let's see, take a small sample of shit heads, and project that to an entire group of people. Hmmm, why does that sound familiar, and just so much like a racist statement, but apparently it is not. Again ROFL!

The world is good again, Isle of Man TT back

Yep, not a good year. Possibly partly due to 2 years off from racing due to Covid. The course requires alot of practice and runs to learn the turns, bumps, etc..

    Peloton - really people?

Where did you come up with the fire issue? I said Tesla has quality control issues, I didn't say anything about fires. Not sure what got you to that point, but you quote me like I even mentioned it. And unfortunately for me I haven't had an investment in an oil or gas company for quite a few...

    Peloton - really people?

I admit I am one who is not a fan of mass transportation, but I do get it as at least a partial solution. I am hoping there is a better solution than lithium, but the money is going for lithium as the solution. There are some trying other things, but they aren't getting anywhere near the...

    Peloton - really people?

I agree, not to mention Tesla has consistent quality control issues. At some point even the fan club has to get a bit tired of the b.s.. At the same time I wouldn't take a trade against it, you never know how long the fantasy will continue. The competition should cut into sales, especially with...

An onboard lap from 2018, pretty awesome footage.

My teenage son got busted smoking. Now what.

Sister Ann Mary was our principal in grade school and she had a paddle also. In high school Fr. Forey had a ruler he would nail you with when you screwed up in his freshman English class.

If Biden and the Dems were smart....

No different than any other president, or politician for that matter. Trump claimed all was great because of him, when it was more a Fed feeding money and ridiculously low interest rates for way too long. That being said, I just laugh when any of them makes their claims of how great they are.

If Biden and the Dems were smart....

Oh well, their loss, but in today's environment I would think they would throw it out just the same to get a rip on Trump.

The truth is trading is incredibly boring..

A little of both, but more look for a trade or 2 that I can ride for a bit with size(for me) and then have the option of walking away. The first 30 minutes I look to grab the first directional move and then the counter move. When I catch those I will stick around for a bit and scalp with smaller...

My teenage son got busted smoking. Now what.

Off topic so I apologize, but it brought up a memory. My neighbor, his brother(2 years older) and I would go bowling in grade school(7th-8th grade) and buy a pack of camel no filters at the alley. We smoked them while we bowled and no adult ever questioned us. We felt like hell by the time we...

If Biden and the Dems were smart....

They would make a point of offering money to the people who went to Trump's bankrupt school. Why not get a good dig in while handing out candy everywhere? I read they are giving another few billion away to students of another bankrupt school, why not have some fun while doing it?

The truth is trading is incredibly boring..

Been at this full time since 2003, and part time going back to the beginning of the dotcom stupid fest, yes it does get boring, making money or not. I am down to roughly 4 hours a day on average sitting in front of the computers for my income trading, and even that wears me out staring at the...

The world is good again, Isle of Man TT back

Unfortunately, there are quite a few crashes. I think the race started in 1907 and there have been close to 250 deaths and any number of injuries. It's run on the streets of the island, with houses walls, etc. along the course. Here's one of Connor Cummins. He raced the next year after this.

Is Cathie woods going to receive a margin call?

Crap, I just read she bought 250000 shares of NVDA. I have been in NVDA for a long time, and have sold calls against, and traded in and out of a portion of my position along the way, but now I wonder if it isn't time to bail.
