    I wouldn't feel to bad about exiting if the stocks later in the run had massive pullbacks which would wipe out almost all profit. If the stocks had very small pullbacks and I still exited then I would not be pleased with myself.

    I haven't read the whole thread but being defensive is good if you are trading counter trend against the daily charts. If you are trading with the trend of the Daily with decent entry's it pays to be a pig with your gains.

    Also maybe some of the new lower sales prices will lower the comps that appraisers do and thereby making financing more difficult.(Especially the no money down deals) I think most comps come from the mls though and an appraiser wouldn't use the foreclosure sale price as one.

    Assuming you have a viable strategy as you increase the width of your stops generally you will increase your % of winning trades. Keep in mind your winners have to be large enough to compensate for your losers and obviously this depends on your stop size ,winner size, and win/loss rario.

    Tend to agree with you. The % decline of ER vs. ES on 6/16 was surprising. Was in a swing trade from 6/14 and sold 6/16 AM. Would have been way ahead if I sold @ Thursdays close. Daily's looked like mkt was going to run a few days at least without such a large pullback.

    Zillow has the price the home sold for ? The price they show as mkt value is the tax assessment. Depending on how long ago the town was reassessed the tax assessment may or may not be the same as mkt value.
