How can I backtest multiple symbols in Tradestation easylangauge?

I don't use the method you refer to; I use MacroExpress to do this. I posted links to these methods in: http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&postid=1166300&highlight=macroexpress#post1166300 These links take you to Tradestation World where they are discussed. Hope this...

That one was fun. Too bad it was last day b4 Labor Day or I would have bought more. I exited shortly b4 the close as it looked to me like a short squeeze. OTOH, they announced today that their full FY earnings will be announced next Friday. So, it may not have been a short squeeze but...

Significant Reduction in Petroleum / Gasoline Prices, HOW?

There is a simpler solution: let prices rise and let the market take over. And, to help it along, why not increase gasoline taxes to $0.50 per gallon to fund better mass transportation and research other fuels such as alcohol from celulose. DS

Significant Reduction in Petroleum / Gasoline Prices, HOW?

Take a look at the permitting process. As I understand it, unless the govt intervenes there are no new sites, only where they now stand. DS

Significant Reduction in Petroleum / Gasoline Prices, HOW?

backtesting on hundreds of stocks in Tradestation

I do this often using MacroExpress. There are a few threads at Tradestation world that explain how to do the testing using this and also other ways using TS alone. This is one of the threads and a good place to start: https://www.tradestation.com/Discussions/Topic.aspx?Topic_ID=41468...

Significant Reduction in Petroleum / Gasoline Prices, HOW?

If I recall the French have no fossil fuels and they got hurt badly during the first oil shock in the mid 70s. As a result, they went nuclear for almost all their electric. Now, most people there accept it. They are having nimby problems with waste disposal also. BP apparently is poorly...

I recently switched for satelllite to TWC (hated doing that as TW sucks in many ways) but did so as you found out because of the local HD issue. AFAIK they have some bandwidth issues also .

Significant Reduction in Petroleum / Gasoline Prices, HOW?

Not really, 1. nukes are very expensive to build and when the cost of disposing of the waste fuel and decommisioning costs are factored in become about the same or more expensive than conventional plants. Some recent estimates by groups that favor their construction show better economics but...

Can you live with 100 plus Degrees summers forever?

Not sure what your point is re. my post. My post stated that I thought SCIENTISTS during the winter of 75-76 were predicting the next ice age was upon us. It was not the republikans doing the predicting then. So are you comparing scientists to republikans? DS
