I stand while trading. But it's my understanding that Aeron chairs by Herman Miller are great for traders long hours. I might try a treadmill this coming year. I also recommend stretching and exercise. Good posture is important too.

I use Interactive Brokers and TradeStation. .5-cent or 1-cent per share per trade max, depending on which you choose ($1 minimum per trade). Other charges may apply, such as data, non-use, or platform fees if you don't trade enough.

I prefer to go long on stocks in an uptrend, rather than a downtrend. I wish you good luck.

+1 I would add: learn chart reading - technical analysis, money management, etc. There are many free videos on YouTube for this. Some are good and some are crap. Buyer beware - caveat emptor.
