Maybe you can answer this question I have. I didn't want to run an experiment to find the answer. If the market is 1547.25 bid 1547.50 offer and you enter an order to sell at 1545.25, won't you get filled at the market? ie 1547.25, an d not at the lower price that you entered?

I can't believe this lady on CNBC said she had seen the embargoed NAHB housing market index report (to be released at 1pm) and that it was "significant" Let's see.... this year's numbers were, starting with Dec 06, 32 35 40 Feb 36 33 30 28 clearly trending down since...

spectre2007, I 'm not sure I understand these orders. Are they designed to capture a series of one point profits? Are you entering a trade with a stop order and taking 1 point profit? What about slippage? thnx

It must be very hard to say "inflation expectations" 5 times really fast. :D Harder still, "consideration of implications of inflation expectations." he continues... "communication consideration implication inflation expectation" he just threw in "explanation" someone needs to do...

Interactive Brokers Lost Estimated 25 Million In Q1 On Insider Trading Of Options

Wayne, who do they buy the puts from to do the conversion? They might as well just buy the calls back. I am guessing they typically use a delta hedge which works fine in most cases and can be adjusted in most cases.... except when the stock gaps due to a buyout or some other major news, in...

    Wallstreet and its propaganda machine

I am troubled by the stories suggesting the Fed will mention in their statement that they will be looking at headline inflation rather than core inflation. If a reporter dreamed up that idea then it is stupid to report it. If they were leaked the information, then the Fed officials should...
