a tick is .01 for the nyse, as long as a trade is executed below where you are offering, you can be filled, you dont need an uptick. I just use market, so im always filled whenever anyway.

i sold more ttpa at 3/16 + 15/16 i think. I have 2k left, and I just threw a 1/4 stop on them so I don't have to monitor as closely. In the same pattern, im up 1/4 now on my 15k of bvew i have... I took some more on the new high.

watch inordinate size.. that's to scare people.. just like inca on nas.you have to know the specialist... like when mo shows multiples of 10k, then it will go the other way.. etc

Specialist is always trying to "move" the stock. See where he's moving to. He is mainly looking for air pockets in his book where there is no size. When he posts size, got he opposite way, he's getting long to move it to the size, watch the penny over increments, if necessary take a few hundred...

I do way less than that.. Maybe 20k worth of nyse trades a day. And the 1c a share nyse transaction cost hurts. But i only pay 10 a trade.

don't place stop orders if you are watching.. do it mentally!!! secondly, mm's and specialists know where you place those stops, they blow you out on purpose. keep your stops looser. Risk less shares if it means that. Otherwise buy when the specialist is buying. I don't know how to see this on...

I make my living trading mostly nyse stocks. I do much more scalp related trading. It is all about reading the specialist. It is hard, and I know that, but you can definately scalp him. You just have to wait for there to be action. For instance, the day that nke blew up, I made 4 scalps on it...
