Looking for a book is great, But oil is extremly news driven. You need to always be on the top of news and reports. things like middle east and nigeria situation , supply and demand reports, OPEC meeting and ... can move oil price very quickly...

one of best things you can do is not sharing target price and stop losses with programer and just adjust them when you recieved the code. they hardly can seel a strategy withought Target and stop prices

I am not sure if it has ever been measured what above or below average is. However as I mentioned previously in this thread, just imagine if you are making 2 points a day per contract, per day. Then we are talking about almost making %5 a day or practically 10 times of your account annually...

To me it depends on what news we are talking about. FED's report, GDP, and similar basic reports , Yes I do trade based on them. any other news I usually wait to see what the market reaction is first and then make a decision.

I use desktop with matrox Video card for charts and execute orders from my laptop. it gives me the mobility and also when I figured out where S/R are I just can go around with laptop and watch the price just trough IB numbers if I have to.
