    Fibonacci Trading (without noise)

Do you mind explaining the reason you drew the fib lines there rather than somewhere else?

Is Trading This Easy or Am I Missing Something?

However knowing ahead of when you start trading if it's going to be chop or not is required.

Is this seriously what trend traders do?

I feel like you weren't responding to my post.

Is this seriously what trend traders do?

What are you doing to know where important traders are taking profits?

Manual tape reading & DOM in an algo age

Tape reading is observing where huge orders are? I added that to a chart previously. Occasionally they would be at the beginning of trends. Periodically they would be at the center and end of trends, too. Pointless. Legitimately.

Why hedge, why not just buy a smaller position?

The one situation I would call a hedge probably isn't. How can a hedge be uncorrelated? What if they both go down?

Is this seriously what trend traders do?

Although if you sold and missed out on 40% I'm sure you'd get screamed at too. That's the problem with all this nonsense. It's like on those fashion design shows, if they prefer what someone did, they're like "he took a chance and it worked, good job" and if they didn't, they're like "he needed...

Why hedge, why not just buy a smaller position?

Except in cases where someone doesn't know the direction the market is going to go and is trading each side separately, I don't know how hedging provides an advantage.

    Not a crypto post

I'm attempting to share what I saw, for a single broker their last prices did not match depth of market.

    Not a crypto post

When I looked at one of the brokers the depth of market didn't match actual price. I guessed it wasn't accurate.

Intraday Trading System based on Next Day's Range Prediction

I love threads like this. Similar to the person's tomorrow's price today thread. The average poster doesn't realize all trading is predicting.

How do you stay ahead of the herd/majority?

Provided big traders can get it wrong then how come it would even be worthy to pay attention to the points at which the big orders are coming in? Or were you saying that it's not significant even though you have the potential to see these trades?

How do you stay ahead of the herd/majority?

Are you saying one big buyer and many small sellers at the highs? That would mean that the massive boys are getting it wrong.

How do you stay ahead of the herd/majority?

How do you know those are large players selling at tops? One time I tracked all the big purchases and they were at the high as much as the low, but sometimes they were in the middle. It could just be a bunch of stupid individuals. Isn't price moved by where orders are not, anyway? Price doesn't...

How do you stay ahead of the herd/majority?

Should this be thought of as saying that retail traders even make up a massive enough group to produce an effect on the market?

I don't have es data anymore. How accurate are these charts?

Is this seriously what trend traders do?

I feel like trend trading is like roulette where a single number pays out 39:1. Bet on it and you will, eventually, win. Bunches of small losses with the occasional winner.
  19. I

Is this seriously what trend traders do?

Yes it can. Asked another way, what is the earliest bar that let you say "now we're in a trend?"

Is this seriously what trend traders do?

I do not have an individual definition of a trend. Some people say it's when support becomes resistance, other's say it's when higher highs and higher lows form, others say it's when a trendline displays that there is vertical movement. In order to define a trend, there has to be a time at...
