Can you just keep rolling out losing positions endlessly?

So, what if you roll for same price? That's not adding funds, just extending the duration.

Will an option ever be priced littler than the intrinsic value?

If price is 1.15, for example, will a 1.50 put ever be less than .35? How does this work for calls?

Can you just keep rolling out losing positions endlessly?

Is it still rolling if you don't make money on it? You sold $20 worth of puts. Now they're worth $40. So you buy them back for $40 and sell more for $40. Your net is still $20 without commissions.

what is the purpose of delta hedging?

I see things about if a position is losing, you buy something else such that deltas are even. Like if your delta is -400, you go over one strike and sell enough that the delta of your position is around 400. What does that do? I simulated this in Think or Swim but don't really get it, it...

    I don't like "annualized gains"

I don't like how they talk about annualized gains. It kind of doesn't make sense. They say "this trade had 50% annualized gains" but you traded with like 2% of your account so who cares? It's not like you're making 50%. Seems like marketing. If I have a 5000 account and I get a position...

Purchase price of stocks assigned from put?

Every composition I read said you get the shares at the strike price minus the premium. Seriously every single article says this. When I worked the numbers, I figured this would be the case. Like, it looks like I got the $15 and then I purchased the shares at $1.50. Stock was SNDL, put was...

Can you have a cash secured put AND a covered call on the same stock at the same time?

Wait, I misstated that. I mean you short a put, you short a call, and you hold the shares. Not short the shares.

why are there so many options that are terrible deal?

I see this all the time. Maybe it was simply happening yesterday because it was right before expiration. Will check additionally next week.

Purchase price of stocks assigned from put?

I sold a $1.50 put. It expired ITM. I was assigned the stock then. My purchase price is listed as $1.50 per share. Shouldn't it be $1.50 - the premium?
