Ninja takes too long to load a chart (only IB is worse) and can't link them to a security you are viewing. E-Signal is instant and can link to many brokers like lightspeed with ease.
Shouldn't this thread be closed since Citi is a Penny Stock? They are not allowed to be discussed at ET.
OR
Will ET scramble to modify the TOS like the exchanges are to sub $1 stocks not becoming delisted :p
It's funny watching the level 2 on Citi today.
Most stocks are blocks of 100, 200 or 1,000
I see lots of orders of 10,000, 20,000 and even 40,000 coming over for Citi
LOL
Why buy it? Every tick down is a 1% move at this point. You can easily lose half of your investment fast if it dropped to .50
Remember it is a PENNY STOCK. Just beacuse it is Citi and not just some crappy dot commer doesn't mean you should look at it differently. It is what it is - crap!
It seems these issues started when volume spiked last fall. If you look at volume over the past few years it isn't even comparable from 2000-Summer 2008 and Summer 2008-Present.
Once volume returns to more normal levels I think lightspeed should perform better. Why upgrade for this now...
For all of this talk of having an "Edge" one could argue that if you execute proper money management, position sizing realtive to the size of your account, utilizing (or not utilizing) proper leverage to the size of your account and sticking to your setups that should give you enough of an edge...
It's critical that ETers realize that not everyone is doomed in discretionary trading. Just as not all can system trade not all can discretionary trade.
Find what works for you and do it well!
