I switched back to Win2K for that same reason.. and things are better. (some Java problem.. i am not a Tech guru, wouldn't know how to explain it. But the problem is gone as soon as i turned back to Win2k.)

Trading is more like Fishing :D Got to be patient. Got to sit thru alot of boring times. If you know that there are no fishes there, you don't throw your bait in and wait for days... Have to learn to put yourself in a "lucky" position. and then... sooner or later, Fishes will come...

so Def, Today's TWS on and off (thru out parts of the US and Canada) was due to the client's ISP connection problem? As much as i want to believe it.. it doesn't seem logic does it? Just want the truth. :confused:

I gave up trading the SOX and NASD yesterday.. When they don't follow the futures (or make opposite moves) it is simply frustrating to sit thru. Look at yesterday's QLGC and KLAC, and you will see how frustrating stocks are getting these days. I definitely threw in the towel, and went back to...

IB down at 10:50 in Canada. Pending orders were filled.. Were able to log back in 10minutes later. 11:05 = = = = = Did anyone here had problem calling in to close your positions? I was glad that the trade didn't go against me. But i would of been real pissed off if i were long and...
