The flaw in this "index" is that some of these stocks are impossible to short....and the ones that are shortable usually have a fee which would eat up most or all of the 4% gain.

That FDA approval news was out at 3:43 EST. The stock didn't react to it at all (it actually traded slightly lower). It only ran after CNBC "broke" the news after the closing bell. If anything, I think it might have been a good short when it popped above 54.50 in AH trading.

I've been in/out of SDTH a few times in the last couple of weeks (flat now). I think it was StonedInvestor who brought it to my attention (thanks Stoney). I agree that it looks like a good long term play. However, I wouldn't call 30 million shares a "small float".
